Training & seasons

When do the seasons run?

The 2026/27 winter season runs 25 weeks, 19 October 2026 to 25 April 2027, indoors in Dübendorf and Bassersdorf. The 2027 summer season runs 17 weeks, 10 May to 10 October 2027, at TC Mösli in Wallisellen.

How are groups formed?

Based on what you tell us when registering (group size, duration, available days) and on level and age. Juniors train with juniors. We adjust groups during the season if needed.

Do I need a club membership?

In summer, yes: training at TC Mösli requires a membership. Juniors currently pay CHF 80 per year; adults can take a special training membership for CHF 150 per year. No membership is needed in winter.

What happens when it rains in summer?

Where possible we move sessions indoors. Group sessions generally go ahead. The academy covers 20% of the extra indoor court cost; the rest is split between participants.

What level is the coaching for?

Every level: from beginners to club players to ambitious tournament players. Coaching follows your tennis DNA, not a one-size-fits-all programme.

Juniors

Why do you ask for the AHV number?

Children’s and junior courses are run through Jugend+Sport (Swiss Youth & Sport). Since 2019 every participant has to be recorded with their AHV number in the national sports database. This applies to participants up to age 20.

Booking & payment

Can I book a single lesson?

Yes. Private lessons and the trial lesson are booked online with the coach of your choice, and you see open times straight away.

What if I need to cancel a lesson?

Private lessons can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance; after that the lesson (incl. any court fees) is charged. Missed group sessions lapse; for longer injuries or illness we try to make up sessions with a doctor’s note.

How and when do I pay?

You receive the invoice by email once groups are set. Payment is due within 20 days; paying in two instalments is possible on request.

Stringing

How quickly is my racket strung?

Standard turnaround by arrangement. Express on request: within 24 hours (+ CHF 10) or same day (+ CHF 20), depending on workload.

How often should I restring?

Rule of thumb: as many times a year as you play per week. Three sessions a week means restringing around three times a year. Polyester strings lose tension long before they break.

Secure your slot for the season.

Fixed weekly slots are allocated in order of registration. Or start with a trial lesson.
